St. Cyprian’s Boys’ School is proud to celebrate the success of Liam Courtenay, who delivered an outstanding performance at the 2026 Barbados Swimming Association Long Course National Championships held in February.
Representing Dolphin’s Swim Club, Liam captured gold medals in the 50m Freestyle, 100m Freestyle, 50m Backstroke, 100m Backstroke and the 200m Individual Medley, along with silver medals in the 50m Butterfly and 200m Freestyle, finishing second overall in his division.
Liam also played an important role on the St. Cyprian’s Boys’ School swim team which secured second place at the 2025 Primary Schools Swimming Championships.
With one of the fastest 50m freestyle times in the region for his age group, Liam is now preparing for the upcoming Goodwill Swimming Championships.
St. Cyprian’s Boys’ School congratulates Liam on his achievements and wishes him continued success in the pool.

St. Cyprian’s Boys’ School is proud to celebrate the achievement of one of our talented young sportsmen, Carter, who recently competed in the 2026 Barbados Junior National Squash Championships.
Carter competed in both the Under-11 and Under-13 divisions and delivered an outstanding performance to capture the Under-11 title, marking his first Junior National Under-11 championship.
We are extremely proud of the effort he has been putting into the sport. While there is still much for him to learn, we hope he continues to enjoy the game and grow through the discipline, dedication and commitment that squash requires.
Congratulations to Carter on this excellent achievement. We look forward to seeing his continued progress in the sport and hope this is the first of many titles to come.

In October 2024, Tré Best discovered the Mr. School Boy competition and eagerly stepped forward to participate. With only three weeks to prepare, he trained with focus and determination, earning 8th place—an experience that motivated him to aim higher.
From December 2024 onward, Tré committed to consistent training while balancing his school responsibilities.
His dedication paid off in 2025 when he secured second place in the Boys’ Junior Division (ages 9–11) at the Primary and Secondary Schools Bodybuilding and Body Fitness Championships.
Now representing St. Cyprian’s Boys’ School, Tré continues to train with discipline and confidence as he sets his sights on achieving his goal in 2026.
